Other Info You Would Like to Include: I have never had the opportunity to work with TASN. Where I was before, they were not involved as much. Now being with SAISD I have a lot of opportunity to help others. Not only the members, but the community as well. I look forward to being a part of this great association.
Goals for Office: To help the area I would represent "go to the top." I believe the sky's the limit. Whatever people set their mind to, they are capable of achieving any goal. I want communities to know more about food nutrition and what we are about, and know that we are here to help students, but that we are here for the families as well. I would like for families to go back to cooking healthy meals together, talking to one another the way things used to be. Last, but not least, I want this office to make me a better person.

Other Info You Would Like to Include: With the assistance of TASN programs and educational courses I was able to achieve my goal to become a Child Nutrition Director and have strong resources to pull from because of my membership.
Goals for Office: To encourage and recruit others, starting with the specialist level, to join TASN and share the benefits to them and to our students of becoming a member.
