Santa Fe ISD | Supervisor for YUM Nutrition

TASN Member: 18 years | SNA Member: 5 years
TASN Positions Held: Area 2 Representative
TASN/SNA Presentations: "Movin'and Groovin'" for the past two years with Jeannie Stallings
Education/Certifications: Graduated high school and working on my Level 5 certification with TASN. Went to Managers Academy in 2016 and have taught classes at the TASN workshops on Saturdays.
Other Info You Would Like to Include: I have been on the board for the last three years and have learned a lot. I enjoy working for the kids and planning fun and educational events for healthy eating. I enjoy going to each school and having lunch with groups of students to get their ideas on improving, so that they will eat through the lunch line every day.

My home life is all about family - I have seven grandkids that keep me very busy. I enjoy watching and playing with them in basketball, soccer, dirt bikes, baseball, swimming, and kickball. I love weekend family get-togethers and playing outside and good BBQ.

Goals for Office: My goals are simple: stand up for our rights as members; support every district in the state; build a strong bond between our area representatives and the districts they represent; be there to help when needed by any school district; keep all TASN members, new and old, informed of events and by-law proposals so that everyone knows what they are voting for or against at the Annual Conference. I will do my best at all I do.
