Administrative Academy

The TASN Administrative Academy is an in-depth training that is facilitated by the education and training committee of TASN. It is designed to provide practical business skills for school food service administration. Invaluable resources will be provided to child nutrition directors, assistant directors, supervisors, and managers.

The Academy offers a four-part series of comprehensive courses in school food service management. Courses will cover eight key areas pertinent to operating a sound, successful school food service program. A highly qualified team of instructors will guide participants through each course and share insights reached through years of hands-on experience.

An Administrative Academy attendee must be an active member and submit a letter of recommendation or sponsor letter from their Superintendent/Director.

The Academy is a (32) hour course and the fee is $575.00.

2024-2025 Administrative Academy

The upcoming 2024-2025 TASN Administrative Academy will take place on October 21-22, 2024 and February 19-20, 2025 at the Austin Marriott South. The Academy will precede the fall and spring TASN Board of Directors and committee meetings.
